no matter how liberal, free thinking and free spirited I am,
I will never be comfortable watching people I really love be involved with drugs
even in a minor way. Something I have properly realised recently.

After all the shitty jobs I've had, this feels good!

Also Biffy Clyro were awesome the other night.

I'm glad I am now well enough to be enjoying all of this.

I am ready 4 hours early
because one of my supposed oldest and bestest friends is a constant let down.

although I would kill for some jasmine tea.

But all my Unit 4 has to be in tomorrow, bad times.
Also a massive Politics essay needs to be done for Thursday, bad times.

Mighty Boosh live was awesome though, and despite over priced beers, very good times were had.
I also now have a sweet Bollo tshirt, which is luckily very subtle, as wearing mighty boosh tshirts definitely makes you uncool.

apparently the country of iceland own the supermarket iceland though, which is weird. Imagine if all countries had shops named after them.

Also what's with Sophie Ellis-Bextor in the new Rimmel adverts? She is SO annoying. Who marries a feeling? Someone Annoying.
I just hate adverts in general to be honest.

So Woolworths is closing down...where am I going to get my £2 plimsolls now!? I am gutted.

I saw my old manager on the train back from college today, and it was SO awkward. I have no idea if she saw me but I pretty much ran the other way. Oh well, I've seen her naked on the internet so HA. Yes, really.

Tomorrow means an environmental studies mock, bad times. But, then the Mighty Boosh Live, good times!

Isn't it really weird that people sing to you on your birthday?

When else do you ever get mindlessly sung at without question?
It's so odd!

If anyone knows why or how this tradition came about, please let me know.

In my family it's extra awkward because you have to have the song sung to you twice - once in english and then once straight afterwards in italian.

City of God

is an awesome awesome film I watched the other night at my good friend Mark's house. It is genuinely amazing, I loved the use of people from the slums who had never acted before, and how a lot of it wasn't scripted, and how it really was based on a true story

I'm really loving world cinema at the moment, in fact I have a copy of Oldboy in front of me which I'm very eager to crack open. I'm already a big Park Chan Wook fan and this is his most famous work so :)

I'm currently excited about a photography project i'm working on for Unit 5, or 3? Whichever it is. It's going to be a series of polaroids, between 20 and 50 I think. All of which will be of petrol stations and large corporations. Coming from the phrase 'consumer culture replacing traditional values' which is now forever etched in to my brain after all the work i've done for it.

However I am definitely not excited about being recruited into this really awkward secret santa...
I wouldnt buy presents for half the people involved...

I've got some of those wonderful mitten things where you can fold down the mitteny but to fingerless gloves, this makes for good times on the cold walk to college in the mornings because I can fiddle with my ipod
not that that walk can ever be good.
As grateful as I am for these lovely accessories, I don't want winter anymore!

I've got loads of stuff going at the moment, and loads of stuff I really want to write about. But I'm going to curb it for a while and get all my thoughts in order. I shall be investing in a diary very soon and I'm really going to try and use it properly. I think I'm going to start leaving myself post-its again as well. They're really useful to my short sports of inspiration that are quickly forgotten.

The cold weather and all the festivities are reminding me of last year, when it was about this time that I was saying goodbye to finbarr. very sadface. I miss him so. I wish i could go and visit him in NZ.

No college today

I didn't go to college today, so instead stayed at home watching old episodes of The OC and new episodes of Heroes.

Oh the strife.

Currently sipping camomile tea, watching Sex and the City re-runs and worrying about getting in to Kent Uni.
I don't think my tutor has even sent off my application yet

Also worried about my television binging! Which involves Sex and the City, Kyle XY, Gossip Girl, The OC and very very shamefully (and because it's on whenever I walk in the door) Charmed.
But right now, college sucks people suck and my boyfriend has no money and no phone
so everything is pretty boring!
