Zavvi, Whittard, Woolworths

All closing down in my local shopping centre, making Woking even more of a typical Surrey suburb.

It's still kind of sad though, many a day were spent causing a raucous with our absurd antics in that shopping centre when we were still full of energy, and knowing that the town is changing and developing almost as much as we are is very symbolic.

In other news, I hate Edexcel. (The examining board)
Revising for two modules from LAST YEAR is horrid. Knowing that the current AS students don't even have to do one of these is even worse. CHEERS EDEXCEL.
So it's official I am going to fail, especially now, mid revise, I started to write a blog about shopping centres.

I went to see Twilight the other night, much to my shame and embarassment. In my defense, I read the books when I was very young, plus I am a huge Catherine Hardwicke fan. (Lords of Dogtown is one of my favourite films of all time) I actually really liked it, as usual, Hardwicke's casting was genius, and the camera work was inspired. And I won't lie, Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen is such a dream. Not that that wasn't already obvious.

Also, I got tickets to see 65daysofstatic again in April, which is absolutely fantastic (thanks Mark!)
And aaaaaaaalso I have almost secured a part as an extra in a new Michael Caine film, which is very exciting!

I am supposed to be working loads on some experimental photography, for my portfolio to bring to my Fine Art Interview, but I haven't even had a chance to start yet, not to mention how uninspired I am in terms of what to shoot. I am really pushing it for time.
Basically, I have no idea why I spend so much time talking and writing about all these things I have to do, instead of actually doing them.
I really need a kick up the arse.

you make me

so angry.

at who i was, what we've become, where we are, what we are doing and who you've turned in to.

I miss the boy who I wanted to spend all my time with, and who everyone else did to.

I do not appreciate this bitter, arrogant cunt you've turned in to, and it is evident no one else does either.

ps, your girlfriend cheated on you.

yiiiiikes.
unfortunately, I would never want to hurt you enough that I would tell you.

pps
This doesn't mean I don't miss you incredibly, you prick.

New Year, New Everything

So much has happened, and I haven't blogged in so long, mainly because for some reason I couldn't sign in

So this is probably going to be one of those boring 'this happened then i did this then this happened' blogs. But I wanna get it all of my chest so here it goes anyway.

New Year was shit. It's always so hyped up and sometimes it goes that way, like last year at South Bank in London, that was so good. But this year was shit. Kind of a semi house party with a few close friends, everyone got drunk and pissed off, and I got depressed. The bad drunks. Whatever.

Back at college which sucks. It's worse than ever and I hate the atmosphere that's lingering over the site at the moment, probably a mix of exam stress, the coldest january in history, and maybe people are starting to realise we're not in High School Musical and none of us ACTUALLY like each other. Talking of exam time, oh shit. I'm literally fucked.
shittyfuckinpissknobs

I have a bunch of new year's resolutions which I'm hoping to follow through, but we shall see.
Talking of the coming year, I am extremely anxious/excited for all this uni stuff. I have an interview for a fine art course (which is so scary as I need to create a portfolio) and I got an offer for an amazing english course which although I don't know the conditions of yet, I am sosos excited. I got a couple of other offers as well but I'm not interested in those! haha

Also, the most exciting development of all - Finbarr is coming back over to England! I am so happy and excited! He's going to be here for three weeks in April and he's going to be celebrating his 18th and looking around uni's... which means he could be back in the country in a year and a half! So exciting. I spoke to him on the phone the other night and it was just so good to hear his voice, i've had butterflies for two days! haha

Anyway this is really boring. I'm now going to watch a rubbish film and not thing about my Environmental Science revision.

Currently watching: Kyle XY (for shame)
Currently excited to watch: Gossip Girl Season 2, 90210 (for shaaaaaaaame)
Currently excited to hear: New Glassjaw and Alexisonfire albums
Currently mourning: Destruction of the Astoria

Show some muscle, do the hustle

no matter how liberal, free thinking and free spirited I am,
I will never be comfortable watching people I really love be involved with drugs
even in a minor way. Something I have properly realised recently.

anyway the week hasn't been bad
work Christmas party was wicked
I love that we all genuinely get on
After all the shitty jobs I've had, this feels good!

Also Biffy Clyro were awesome the other night.

I'm glad I am now well enough to be enjoying all of this.

Christmas tomorrow

Buttercup Cough Syrup

I really need it, I have such a sore throat
A full bottle is right in front of me, but a tiny word on the label caught my eye
'Huntingdon'

UH OH
The company that own Buttercup are based in Huntingdon.
This means it is SLIGHTLY POSSIBLE they're linked with Huntingdon Life Sciences...

UH OH
I've tried to find out via the internet, but I can't find anything.

Do I drink it?

I'm like Alice in Wonderland
and ALF

I'm ALF in Wonderland.

Cavalry come, cavalry go

I am ready 4 hours early
because one of my supposed oldest and bestest friends is a constant let down.

lame.
so instead I am in my bedroom drinking beer and listening to the Kills. So not all bad?
although I would kill for some jasmine tea.

But all my Unit 4 has to be in tomorrow, bad times.
Also a massive Politics essay needs to be done for Thursday, bad times.

Mighty Boosh live was awesome though, and despite over priced beers, very good times were had.
I also now have a sweet Bollo tshirt, which is luckily very subtle, as wearing mighty boosh tshirts definitely makes you uncool.
haha.

iceland adverts

the ones with kerry katona and all the singing?
HORRID.
apparently the country of iceland own the supermarket iceland though, which is weird. Imagine if all countries had shops named after them.

Also what's with Sophie Ellis-Bextor in the new Rimmel adverts? She is SO annoying. Who marries a feeling? Someone Annoying.
I just hate adverts in general to be honest.

So Woolworths is closing down...where am I going to get my £2 plimsolls now!? I am gutted.

I saw my old manager on the train back from college today, and it was SO awkward. I have no idea if she saw me but I pretty much ran the other way. Oh well, I've seen her naked on the internet so HA. Yes, really.

Tomorrow means an environmental studies mock, bad times. But, then the Mighty Boosh Live, good times!
